Webinar Run of Show and Talk Track
Build a run of show for a live webinar that a host and a producer can follow without a rehearsal panic. EVENT Title: [TITLE] Audience: [ROLE] Promise: [WHAT THEY LEAVE ABLE TO DO] Length: [30 | 45 | 60] minutes Speakers: [HOST], [GUEST OR NONE] Offer at the end: [DEMO | TEMPLATE | NONE] Registration page already says: [PASTE THE PROMISE] Live platform: [ZOOM | RIVERSIDE | OTHER] Q&A: [YES, LAST N MINUTES | NO] RUN OF SHOW AS A TABLE Columns: minute, segment, who talks, on-screen (slides / demo / poll), producer cue (mic, recording, link in chat). Rows must include: lobby and housekeeping, the open that restates the promise in one sentence, 3 teaching blocks, a live demo or worked example, a planned pause, Q&A, and the offer. Mark the latest minute the offer can start and still fit. TALK TRACK Write the words for the open, the transitions between blocks, and the close. Leave the middle of each teaching block as bullets the expert will say in their own words, so it does not sound memorized. Include one poll question and what you will do with each result. Include a backup if the demo breaks: a screenshot sequence and the sentence that gets the host there without apologizing for a full minute. ALSO - The reminder email for 1 hour before, with the calendar time and the one thing to bring - 5 seed questions for Q&A if the chat is quiet - A 90-second replay cutdown outline for social, using moments that do not depend on the live chat Do not add a new promise that was not on the registration page. Start on time in the script; do not write a 7-minute intro.
