Sales Demo Recording Checklist

Write a checklist for recording a sales demo that a prospect can watch without you. Not a script to memorize. A checklist that stops the usual failures. DEMO Product: [PRODUCT] The prospect's job: [JOB] The path you will click: [5 STEPS] Length: [4 MINUTES] Data on screen: [FAKE | A SANDBOX | THEIRS — IF THEIRS, WHAT MUST BE HIDDEN] CHECKLIST Before: close notifications, hide bookmarks, zoom the browser, set the cursor larger, pick a mic, record a five-second test and listen to it. Data: no other customer's name, no real tokens, a seeded account that does not error on the path. During: say the prospect's problem before the first click. One feature path, not a tour. Pause on the result. Say the limit. After: trim the start, add chapters if the file is long, name the file with the account name, and the follow-up line that sends it. Include the three things that make a prospect stop the video (login fiddling, a dead click, a joke they cannot see).
